Principal's message
Welcome to Auburn Girls High School, an academically selective and comprehensive school committed to excellence, wellbeing and opportunity.
We are a vibrant, diverse and multicultural community where students are encouraged to aim high, act with integrity and embrace the school's motto Learn, Lead, Succeed. Our goal is to equip every student with the skills, confidence and character needed to thrive now and in the future.
The school’s broad curriculum and extensive programs ensure that every student can find a pathway that reflects her strengths and aspirations. Students engage in rigorous academic learning, supported by high-quality teaching and targeted programs that stretch, challenge and enrich them. We take pride in strong HSC outcomes and in seeing our graduates move into university, further study and meaningful careers.
Beyond the classroom, we offer a wide range of opportunities in creative and performing arts, public speaking, debating, sport, technology, social justice and leadership. These programs help students build confidence, resilience and a sense of purpose. Our Positive Education approach further supports wellbeing by helping students develop healthy habits, positive relationships and emotional literacy.
